I lead a Philipino man who was cleaning the outside trash can and one person at Wendy’s. I also prayed with a lady who fixed my glasses at Wal-Mart today. I’ve gone out everyday and it keeps getting easier to just stick to the script.

After going door to door, I went into the grocery store and felt prompted to share the Gospel with a woman who totally shunned my greeting that God loves her. I saw her again and said “God bless you” and she gave the same response, turning away and ignoring me. as i left the store she cheerfully waved “Bye! God bless you”. She told me..at that I promptly led her to the Lord.

Today I went out to Hale Mua. My goal was five. When we were done I only got 4. I told God I was sorry I did not get 5. When I looked up, I saw one of my co-workers with a lady in a wheelchair. I greeted her and introduced myself to the lady in the wheelchair(her mom). I asked her if anyone prayed for her and she said she did not think so, so I asked her if I could pray with her. She said yes. I prayed her through the prayer and then I asked my co-worker the question “If you died today, are you sure you would go to Heaven?” She said, “I hope so.” So I went to the script and she prayed it with me. At the end I got 6 souls instead of five! Praise God! This was my first time out witnessing.

Today was my first day with the group and I love talking to people. But God totally pushed me out of my comfort zone. We went to Blockbuster and the Jack-in-the-Box parking lot. I got to talk to 6 people and 5 said “yes.” We had about 6 people in our group and though we were only out for about 30 minutes, together we totaled 36 souls. Yes! I doesn’t have to take long for God to show up EVER!

After leading a young man to the Lord, his friend, already saved, asked for prayer for his back. When I left him, he said it was feeling better already. An older man we visited promptly received the Lord and after praying for healing for him, his mobility was much better and his countenance brightened. An older Japanese woman, a Buddist prayed and was saved, very appreciative & awestruck at God’s goodness

I went door-to-door witnessing today. I saw a girl about to pack up and leave and led her to the Lord. I also led a college student to the Lord. I met some youth leader who said they were going to take it back to their youth group.

Faith by Rodney Howard Browne

The world offers us many philosophies from which to select.

We are told that we will be able to mix a not much of this with a little bit of that and make an acceptable belief system. In Colossians, Paul warns us about this dangerous angle. He is saying we are instead to build up our relationship with Christ so we will withstand the world’s deception. Imagine an empty lot with only a cement house foundation on it. That is precisely what our life looks like after deliverance. All of the shaky, humanly designed buildings are removed, and a new foundation Jesus Christ is laid.

For the follower working in the Spirit, each action, motive, and deed builds on the indestructible rock of God’s Son. When we construct a home, we select quality supplies like cedar shingles and brick rather than plastic or wood chips. In the same way, our Christian life must be built with good material service, prayer, sharing our faith, and obedience to God’s instructions. Wrong motives, insubordination, and sinful choices weaken the construction. Building a solid house of religion on the bedrock of Christ is a long process.

As we learn how to communicate with God as our Father, trust Him to worry for us, and meditate on Scripture, we add to our supply of construction apparatus. If we are sensible, we won’t stop working till our last day. A religion house which is erected with righteous actions and angles can’t be blown over by difficulty or penetrated by the wind of fake philosophy. The strength comes not from our effort but from the foundation on which we have built. We stand firm in Jesus Christ.

Exodus 13 by Rodney Howard Browne

1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine.

3And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.

4This day came ye out in the month Abib.

5And it shall be when the LORD shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month.

6Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to the LORD.

7Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with thee, neither shall there be leaven seen with thee in all thy quarters.

8And thou shalt shew thy son in that day, saying, This is done because of that which the LORD did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt.

9And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the LORD’s law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the LORD brought thee out of Egypt.

10Thou shalt therefore keep this ordinance in his season from year to year.

11And it shall be when the LORD shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, as he sware unto thee and to thy fathers, and shall give it thee,

12That thou shalt set apart unto the LORD all that openeth the matrix, and every firstling that cometh of a beast which thou hast; the males shall be the LORD’s.

13And every firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb; and if thou wilt not redeem it, then thou shalt break his neck: and all the firstborn of man among thy children shalt thou redeem.

14And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:

15And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the LORD slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: therefore I sacrifice to the LORD all that openeth the matrix, being males; but all the firstborn of my children I redeem.

16And it shall be for a token upon thine hand, and for frontlets between thine eyes: for by strength of hand the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt.

17And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:

18But God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt.

19And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him: for he had straitly sworn the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away hence with you.

20And they took their journey from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness.

21And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:

22He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.

DEUTERONOMY 28 BLESSINGS by Rodney Howard Browne

I listen diligently and pay attention to the voice of the Lord my God.

I am watchful to do all His commandments,

which He commands me this day.

Therefore the Lord my God is setting me high above

all the nations of the earth.

All these blessings are coming upon me and overtaking me because I heed the voice of the Lord my God:

I am blessed in the city and blessed in the field.

The fruit of my body is blessed and the fruit of my ground is blessed and so is the fruit of my beasts, the increase of my cattle and the young of my flock

My basket is blessed and so is my kneading trough.

I am blessed when I come in and blessed when I go out.

The Lord is causing my enemies, who rise up against me, to be defeated before my face.

They may come out against me one way, but they will

flee before me seven ways.

The Lord is commanding the blessing upon me in my storehouse and in all that I undertake.

The Lord my God is blessing me in the land, which He has given me.

The Lord is establishing me as a person holy to Himself, as He has promised me, because I am faithful to keep the commandments of the Lord my God and walk in His ways.

All the people of the earth see that I am called by the Name of the Lord and that His hand is upon me, and they are afraid of me.

The Lord is making me to have a surplus of prosperity, through the fruit of my body, of my livestock, and of my ground, in the land which the Lord promised to give me.

The Lord is opening to me His good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain to my land in its season and to bless

all the work of my hands.

Therefore I will lend to many nations, but I will not borrow.

The Lord is making me the head and not the tail.

I am above only and not beneath.

I am blessed today and every day, because I heed the commandments of the Lord my God, which He commands me this day and I am watchful to do them.

I will not turn aside from any of the words, which He commands me this day – to the right or to the left – to go after

other gods to serve them.

I am abundantly blessed, because I serve the Lord my God with joyfulness of mind and heart, in gratitude for the

abundance of all with which He has blessed me.

Deuteronomy 28:1-14 and 47

Paraphrased from the Amplified Bible

This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.  Joshua 1:8 AMP

The Lord spoke to Joshua and told him to meditate on the Word of God day and night and to speak nothing else, but the Word, out of his mouth. In this way, he would become a doer of the Word and he would become prosperous, wise and successful. This is not just for Joshua, but for every one of us. God’s Word is no respecter of persons. If you will meditate on God’s Word – put it in your heart, speak it out loud, think about it and act on it, you too will be prosperous, wise and successful.

God has given us many wonderful and precious promises, but they will only become ours when we believe what He has said to us and we act on His Word and take hold of his promise. It is like a gift under the Christmas tree – the gift may have your name on it, but it will stay there, just as it is forever, unless you go over to the tree, pick it up, open it up and start to use it! When you meditate on God’s Word, you must read it, memorize it, think about it – rolling it over in your mind – and then confess it to yourself and over yourself. Keep confessing it until it becomes so real to you in your spirit – more real than the things and situations you are seeing with your natural eye. When you meditate on God’s Word and confess God’s Word, you begin to see the promise with the eye of your Spirit, and sooner or later you will see it manifested in the natural realm!
